Entirely untrue. Those are BOTH MALES and, as their species often do, they were involved in a fight to the death. That's not remorse or sadness, it's a victory dance on the corpse of the loser.
Hate to break it to you people (actually I'm LOL at you for being so gullible) but those "male birds" are all trying to mate with the dead one since it is in the prone position of a female presenting itself. While we share feelings and emotions with many other animals, this isn't what many seem to think it is. Silly humans.
