It's been a while since I'm visiting your site and the pictures posted yesterday made me a little angry but, also remind me one of the reasons why I left Romania. Fair enough from you to post the second set.

I'm writing again hopefully to make a point. It dose not matter if the other pictures are from Romania or not (all of them or some of them). I've seen these images with my own eyes on many occasions live. They are disturbing and at the same time kind of funny, but for a country that has only this kind of publicity (negative that is) after a time it stops being funny and becomes "offending". I'm not offended because I trust the people that are not ignorant not to judge a nation after some individuals, a whole country after a dozen of pictures showing gypsies and some drunks. So thank you Izismile for trying to please everyone.

The pictures posted yesterday did not make me proud at all... Unfortunately, gypsies are a great part of our population, which is very sad. They have many children, whose legs they break at birth, so that they can send them on the streets to make people give them money. It is a sad situation, but it's not happening only in Romania. There are gypsies in Hungary, in Bulgaria, in the Czech Republic and even in France. I am not saying that all the Romanians are nice people, because there are "bad" Romanians as well. But more than 90% of all the delinquents here in Romania are gypsies! We are simply taken over by them. :( I currently live in Timisoara, which is a very beautiful city... but guess what? The gypsies buy houses in the centre of the town and the locals buy houses outside the town, to avoid being neighbors to the gypsies! Now, isn't that funny? Gypsies with the identity card from Romania travel to countries like France, England, Spain, where they steal and harm people. And now the entire Europe is saying that the Romanians are doing that. They are not Romanians, they are Romanian gypsies, born in Romania because the human international laws do not allow our country to kick them out!
THIS IS ROMANIA and I am proud to be Romanian, here you are never bored. Gypsies are not Romanians, never were, they are only Gypsies (roomi), they make our country laughable and I grieved when they are consider Romanians. IZISMILE Thanks! !!!!!
Gives a good impression of the beautiful and very romantic country. But you know what else would be worth posting? Romanian women! There are hardly any more beautiful women in the world than in Romania. Very beautyful, very sexy.
I already know that Romania is a beautiful country but when I come on Izismile, it's for saying "OH !!!", "HAH !!!", "WTF", etc... If I want to see pictures of a "beautiful-but-no-extraordinary-thing", I check a travel agency website etc. I think, but I can be completely out of bounds, that it's not Izismile mission to reflect the beautiful aspects of all contry in the world, but instead to show bizarres picts from all around the world.
To make it short, I live in Canada and when I come here, I don't want to see beautiful picts of my prime minister, I prefer the ones when we saw him put a finger in his nose (or anywhere else ). I come here to laugh !!!
So... Don't be too serious and laugh about yourself a little bit more...
i'm Romanian too and this second unbelievable post had me make this comment. dear izismile your decision to have this second post is making justice indeed and you surprised me so much in a pleasant way. on the other hand I gotta say your first post was not completely wrong. it was romania too, a country that is beautiful and ugly to some extent at the same time. by the way, the second pic from the today picdump, the old woman voting, is from Romania too:) love your website. keep it up!!
every place has the good and the bad. Thanks for not taking down the other one, and putting this up too. the caves images were great and the diving images.
So is it cool to show those pictures but not to show the gipsies because they don't reflect the country ? I don't really understand because they are still in the country and even if they don't want strangers to talk about it they will still be there..

@LiriX: Romania is not a poor country and gypsies are not the reprezentativ population of the country, and ugly is not an atribute of the country. If i will come to your country i'm sure that i will find more gypsises that we have (not all gypsies are romanians) and more poor people that we have. Romania is a beautiful country if you want to see that. France is not so gorgeous as you would think compared with Romania. Romania dose'nt have street riots like in France. You are a quick judger and you are mistaking.
I think that some people here are missing the point, or have no patience to read the posts (from the "offended") or they are a bunch of immature people. Only the title was wrong, not the content. Showing us the reality should not be a problem, but showing it in a way that only the tabloids do is a problem. The pic of the green building (#15 I think) makes an optical illusion of sorts if you scroll it up and down. It looks like it's coming out of the page.
Wow, just wow.. It looks so amazing there, these pictures and the ones before.. Whether they were or weren't Romania. It showed me that there is two sides to Romania, that are both beautiful, and makes me want to go visit!
