As mentioned in the title, Trondheim (Norway) is the first city in the world equipped with a lift made especially for cyclists.
The lift is called Trampe and allows you to go easily and without much effort on top of a very steep hill.
Since its opening in 1993, the Trampe has pushed more than 220.000 cyclists on the top of the hill.

not lazy at all :) I've seen a documentary on discovery channel about this, they have rent a bike automated stations around the city, just insert a coin and take the bike. If u return the bike to any rent station u get ur coin back :)
