When I married my wife 36+ years ago, she was a size 14. Why? She was 6' tall. Most outfits were like tents to her. No, she was not skinny. There was a severe difference in how clothes were measured. Men had waist and many other sizes considered. Women only had these archaic sizes to work with. A good thing (or bad) to point out. Now the size 14 is a size 10. The power of advertising. The power of BS.
I am a real woman, and I am a size 4, not overly tall, and not anorexic skinny. I'm healthy. Some women who are really fat need to stop saying this is how women are supposed to look like. It would be so hard for me to jump to 200 lbs and be considered 'real' that's BS.
Your a dumbass! these women are not fat! and none of them look to be 200 or more lbs and who cares what size you are 4 or 14 it all about how you feel! If ur confident at 200lbs or 100lbs then so be it a REAL women loves her body (flaws) and all at any size.

Plus size??? more like normal size. What is most important is for a woman (and man) to be healthy and to be comfortable with themselves, their appearance and their personality. As long as you are healthy, but not killing yourself in the gym or starving yourself then that is good. If you are naturally slim good for you, if you are naturally curved good for you. Be yourself, be true to who you are and people will love you and you will be happy.
Most of those women are normal in my book, even though the modeling world would call them plus-size or even just plain fat. The majority of them are really beautiful.

Get the fact: Not all "REAL" women are supposed to be looked upon as a larger size, this is what I was portraying, maybe you just didn't get my message.
Some were nice, some were overweight, and some were just plain fat.
Let's cut the PC bullshit out with this "real woman" stuff. Different sizes are attractive IF they are in good shape. Being out of shape does not constitute being a "real" woman, (as if smaller women who are in shape aren't real) anymore than being a skeleton constitutes being beautiful.
^Exactly Slimgirl!! I really hate when people refer to overweight women as 'real' when naturally slim girls are always hated upon. People should understand the difference between healthy slim, and overweight.
The best news in this blog is that the grand majority of people posting here recognize the natural beauty all of these women have. I agree that most hardly qualify for being "Plus Sized" but the Fashion World needs a reality check and posting like this make these women proud. Any thin girl that gets offended needs to check her defensiveness at the door. THis posting ain't for you!
The tickets the girls are holding up are not their size of clothing. Those are their numbers in line. I'm not sure why they are trying to portray those as their sizes.
