Street artist Kurt Wenners performs all over the world (more than 30 countries) on pavements and other surfaces since 1982. All his works are great and the illusions always trick the eye. He’s using a style known as anamorphic street painting and uses pastels as well as paint. He takes his inspiration mainly in the Renaissance frescos and sculptures. What is cool with those 3D paintings is if you watch it from the wrong angle, the illusion shatters, but if you have the right angle, the magic operates perfectly. Quick note: he’s a former NASA employee, his work at that time was to design and illustrate future space projects. Well, just take a look at those magnificent masterpieces, it is worth it!
