So this photographer went to a poor trailer park and took some snap shots all these places are within 50 miles of each-other. All this does is make Americans looks like fat, lazy, poor, pieces of shit. This is like going to England and taking pictures of the East Side Slums and nothing else, its just not accurate although I enjoy the collection.

Not accurate. If my fellow Canadians saw these, it would strenghten the dtereotype of America being an over weight, redneck country.

All you foreign bastards need to shut the hell up. That isn't America. That's Yankee town. Come down south some, Mr. Photographer. And she wasn't pregnant. I used a condom.

making eropeans and gringos("americans") feel superior to everyone else around the world

This doesnt represent America. It represent a fucking bunch of hill billy's in poor conditions.

Not even close. Step back from the crack pipe and go to a normal average community/s.

What a joke. Nice try.

Photos are very moving. Humans in human conditions, they don't need pity. More people, wayyyy more people look like these folks than the ones on TV. Look around the next time your in a grocery store.

Are people from outside of the US ignorant,(I dont use this as an insult)enough to believe this is the typical America?

This is a collection of pics from one of the most depressed, hill-billy areas imaginable. You have to be foolish to believe this is an appropriate representation.

it's funny because that's exactly the reaction we have when photographers chose to show the poorest and worst side of our countries, and present those photos to the world as : "the real ....", or "ordinary ....". whereas the life we live in that very country is so different from what we see in the photos that some of them are new even to us! but the difference is we know that every country has its good and its bad. it's the western countries that usually have problems with accepting that fact.
