, I totally agree with other crtoenmems that it's not always appropriate to bring my children with me. It's annoying when there are kids at places like a late movie (it's past their bedtime anyways) or a family UNfriendly restaurant (why would you want to bring them there?), but I'm more annoyed with the parents lack of judgement to expect a small child to behave properly when they are in a developmentally inappropriate situations. There are some situations that I have to bring my children along and I'd appreciate any and all courtesy and understanding extended to me, by the business and other patrons. In general, people need to be more tolerant and sensitive and that goes both ways. I definitely would not give my business to a place that flat out bans children, but that's because it doesn't reflect my lifestyle.

Instead of the dumb protest raliles, the NJEA has a perfect opportunity to go after the 800 lb gorilla in the room ..the health care companies using Norcross as the poster boy for unmitaged greed. Health care premiums have rise 230% since 1997 and are the single biggest employee cost factor which the taxpayers have had to shoulder. This should help them recover some credibility that they have lost since their patented raise taxes rant that has worn thin on everyone.

Note that you inserted caidral in front of fringe, which changes the meaning to what you wrote above. Fringe is anyone who isn't in the mainstream, and at 1%, and candidate would be considered on the fringe. Last summer, someone who had that status might be worth looking at, but in late October, and with a viable third party candidate in the mix, the mayor of Riverdale was being kind to a hometown candidate, nothing more, nothing less.Since NJ has allowed itself to grow its public sector (public workers, elected officials, people on some type of government assistance, Abbott districts, etc.) to a place where probably 50% of the people rely on some type of government largess, and the two parties understand that dynamic and cater to that constituency, expecting either or both parties to implode is a pipe dream.
