Maybe they send some kind of hook and another rope along that zipline and when they hook themselves on it, they will be pulled back by some motor vehicle. Or then they walk back...

How they go back is simple.
They use the same method from the other side.
They go to a higher point and of course use another zipline.
Usually there are 4 ziplines. 2 for route A-to-B and 2 ziplines for route B-to-A.
