These shocking photos were taken by tourists during their New Zealand nature cruise. A killer whale (orca) attacked an exhausted dolphin. Experts assure that a sighting of orcas hunting dolphins was “almost unheard of”.

Actually its not unheard of! There been cases were orcas go for dolphins very rare but it happens, usually when a dolphin is not with it's pod. Orcas and dolphins constantly changing their hunting behaviors, learning and experimenting. Truly magnificent creatures they are, extremely smart and inteligent more than we give them credit for.

When I was little I watched movie named Orca -killer whale. It was about an orca that lost it's mate and child to fishermen and started to terrorize them. Since then, no matter how many free willy -movies I see I wouldn't go swim in the same pool with them n_tongue

The only real assholes Tim the Enchanter are humans. dolphins so intelegent that they almost human, they have sex for fun but killing other species is not done for fun we might never know for sure why they do it. humping humans?! oh well, I don't blame them lets put you in a glass tank and make you preform tricks see what happens...
