Early 20th Century in Color (72 pics)

In the beginning of the 20th century Albert Kahn started collecting autochrome plates (autochrome was the first industrial process for true color photography). By 1929 he managed to amass over 72,000 photos that were held in an “Archive of the Planet”. Now you can view some of the photographic records inside this post.

Wow, its like a real time machine.
At the time the pictures were taken my grandfather was just a small kid.
For first attempts at color photography they are amazing.
