agree. i would guess that it's lutra canadensis, the north american river otter. but apparently deformed or with a hair-loss disease.
deformed or diseased animals can definitely look very different from normal specimens, which tends to make lay people think it's a new species or 'fake'. but the body-shape, general size and head (minus fur) of this animal all look just like the otter norm to me.
the body has obviously been lying around for a while, too...

i dont think its fake.. its look like a bear with some disease... really creepy, i saw a dream with squirrels like that :O :D

hmmm....it really looks like my dog (Sharpei) mixed with photoshop CS5..heh..funny...OR bigfoot got a girlfriend..they had a butt ugly baby and then it died...sad sad story..I would think twice befor dipping my toes into that river...lol
