Pearl Carter, 72, and Phil Bailey, 26, who is her lover and her boyfriend have happy times.
They are going to be parents soon. Carter took her retirement savings of $54 thousand to pay a surrogate mother to carry their future baby.
Let’s go back in history to know some facts.
Pearl Carter gave her daughter Lynette to adoption when she was 18 years old because of her very strict Catholic environment. So, Pearl never knew her daughter nor her grandson Phil whom Lynette brought up on her own. Several years ago his mother was diagnosed for brain cancer and deceased 6 month later. After that, Phil decided to find his real grandmother to get to know his mother’s family.

Such a number is very symbolic in Chinese Buddhism. Lee Chao-hsiung died of cancer in March. He left over $3 million to different charities.
These are the most hilarious charts I came across. The authors of these funny graphs did a great job on summarizing well known facts and making comical conclusions.

This little house on the rocks is a lodge and restaurant for Swiss hikers who enjoy the icy slopes of the Monte Rosa mountain in the Swiss Alps. It looks like a quiet place in the middle of nowhere. I like its unique design and interesting geometric form.
This small island looks really cute. It is located in the middle of Artist’s Lake in Krasnoyarsk, Russian Siberia. It would be cool to visit this nice place in the summer.
Fans of Lord of the Rings books can do amazing things. This miniature hobbit house was built by Maddie Chambers who enjoyed the book so much she reread it over 20 times!
