This blond Barbie is a pretty little doll, and she is stunning as she struts her necklace that features a 1-carat pink diamond.  She was up for bids at the Christie’s auction house in New York for an estimated $300,000 to $500,000 dollars.  She sold for $302,500 on October 21st, 2010 to an anonymous bidder.  This makes her the world’s most expensive Barbie.

The great part is that her auction proceeds will all be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation in support of breast cancer awareness month.

With her stunning fancy diamond in a geometric pattern by Jeweler Stefano Canturi  along with her black strapless dress, stilettos, hair and fine features she is the perfect doll.  Until this doll was created the most expensive Barbie sold was worth 17,091 and also sold at Christie’s London.
