The famous proverb “A friend in need is a friend in deed” is not only about human friendship. We have paraphrased it, because it also refers to these two ducks that happened to swim in the same pond in Beaverton, Oregon (USA).

A little duck probably decided to explore the pond on its own, and swam away from its mother. Maybe it got scared or maybe it started to sink, but a grown duck heard the “kwa kwa” and hurried to teach the little one how to swim.

Scared ducks don't sink. A DNA fault may cause some birds to be hatched with non waterproof feather coat. They will drown or freeze to death short time after leaving the nest.

Never underestimate the power of large crowds, of stupid people.
