Please remember that not only Germans were invaders during WW2. Also Russians are to blame for invading neighboring countries and disguising these acts as "friendly help". Read on what happened to Poland on Sep 17 1939 and you'll see. Russians then proceeded to practically occupy Poland and other neighbors for 50 years, imposing communism as the system of rule. And how that ended - well, everybody knows...

Most if not all of these are actually colourised and not genuine colour pictures. Do a google search for world war II in colour and you'll find plenty of real colour pics from the period.

Pic 53 had to be taken somewhere in Poland.
