It is no secret that the United Arab Emirates is a rich country, which has more oil than dirt. So this is not surprising that the attitude of the locals to their cars is quite “unique.” There are so many supercars per 1 sq km here, which is unseen in any other place on the planet. Not only they don’t care about “simple” cars as Toyotas or Nissans, but they have this careless attitude also towards cars like Jaguars XJ220, Rolls-Royces, Bentleys or Ferraris.

i don't know where do you get ur information but these cars weren't left to rot by "local" but by foreigners manly westerners who after being fired decided to flee the country and not pay for the cars , thats why most of these cars are at the airport

I heard a lot of ex-pats fled Dubai when the real estate market collapsed, leaving all their "toys" behind, which were probably delinquent on payments anyway.
