Not R.G. but R.C. - Randall Champion survived two electrical shocks (26,000 volts) during work on utility pole in Sprinfield, Illinois. His mate, J.D. Thompson, shimmied up the pole and saved R.C.'s life.
The photo was taken in 1967 by Rocco Morabito, Jacksonville Journal photographer that won Pulitzer Prize for this. Randall Champion died in 2002.
