Yes french fries, really and we are godamn happy when it's this, most of the time it's some shitty thing that a 8th grader would cook better than that. I eat usually really little at the school lunches cause the persons cooking are unable to do shit.

Italy...a plate of pasta...seriously? Are people even trying to do some research before doing these damn photo collages anymore?

To be on the fair side, I also don't think all American school lunches look so freaking horrible as in these pics. I'd have shoved that tray up someone's ass if they were to have served me with such garbage back in school.

I am a Chef at a very wealthy private school in Northern California, I hate to say it I was shocked at what I saw at the local public high school. What they showed there was really tasty compared to what I have seen. $1.20 is all they have to spend on lunch including a Milk which takes up to .36 cents of that budget. I wish I could show the world what we make to day was Red Curried Chicken Breast Organic Stir Fried Veggies and Rice Noodles

@Alien1213,
i forgot nothing.
frying anything to cook it is bad for the health. it doesn't matter a damn whether the object is sliced vegetable root or quartered shellfish.

Chef,

They're probably spoiled imbeciles. I can't say I ever complained about lunch food (I'm from Puerto Rico so by your standards, it should be worse than USA) and none of what I saw here is awful besides the limited and probably poorly cooked dishes at poorer countries.

You just think everyone deserves a fucking buffet, criticize whatever is not up to par, yet say while looking at a WHOLE plate of french fries and think "Hm, HEY! That's fine dining!"

Health-wise:
USA is shittiest, of course. France comes in second. The rest of the sad meals is because of third world conditions. The Asian meals are the best. No surprise.
