Uncanny Factoid: Spring Spheres (3 pics)

Easter is now politically incorrect. No longer will we have Easter eggs they are now to be called spring spheres...

Seattle has renamed the Easter Egg to spring spheres. It seems that the word Easter is now on the politically incorrect list. The name came about when a student wanted to give a class that she was helping tutor some Easter eggs. She was told yes, but she had to call them spring spheres.

The Seattle Parks Department also removed all references to the word Easter in their Easter Egg Hunts calling them instead spring spheres.

I guess the Easter bunny will be the Spring bunny or just the Sphere Bunny?

Learn Something Fun: 5 million marshmallows chicks and bunnies are produced each day throughout the year in preparation of Easter.

Ah, Spring is here, and it's time for the annual Easter Vigil by the Left.

If atheists simply don't believe in God, what is the source of their unremitting hatred of, and unrelenting attack on, those who do?

Time to grow up. It's not optional, whatever you've been told.

Seattle. On the superhighway of surpassing San Fran as the asshole of the USA.

Seattle is a big joke full of losers with attitudes. The last visit there was insufferable, never again.

My favorite part is the religious people upset by the fact that these pagan egg celebrations no longer use their religious title. You'd think they'd be happy! Think about it.

The egg is an ancient pagan fertility symbol. It has nothing to do with the Christian Easter. Bloody idiots who give a damn one way or the other.

I somewhat agree with Norm101.
The easter bunny and easter eggs have their origins as pagan symbols of fertility for a pagan holiday. They have nothing to do with the christian easter holiday.
However, I am upset by the word easter being politically incorrect. That would be like saying Kwanza or Channuka are now politically incorrect. Celebrate your own religion (or lack of) in your own ways and leave everyone else to do the same.

yeah, a lot of pagan symbols have in USA, disguised as a holyday, like christmas tree or the halloween itself. Not real christianity in these days if you think so
