British comedian Russell Brand learned the hard way that Japan is a very unforgiving country when you have priors. Upon arrival in Japan with wife Katy Perry who is in the country as part of her California Dreams tour, Brand was detained and deported from the country because he has a criminal record. Perry who was left behind to perform her show immediately took to twitter to vent her anger at his deportation. Brand however took the matter in stride by joking about the entire situation on Twitter.
