Construction Worker Saves Drowning Woman’s Life (6 pics)

This image of a dangling and swinging construction worker reaching his muscled arm out to grab a drowning woman won the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for photography. The Des Moines, Iowa Center Street Dam flooded in June of 2009 and luckily for this woman a construction crew with a crane were able to pluck her out of the raging water. This guy is a real hero. He deserves to be talked about now.

actaully his life's really not in danger. he has on a full harness with a lanyard and what looks to be some type of saddle thats hooked to the massive chains. not to mention the life jacket he has on. looks pretty safe to me but then again im no safety coordinator.
