How about if it was in silky creamy ice cream? Well the folks in Columbia Mo. Employees of Sparky’s Homemade Ice Cream began collecting cicadas removing the dead bugs wings they boiled them and then covered them in brown sugar and milk to create a cicada ice cream.
When a public health worker found the cicada ice cream he asked the company to stop serving the ice cream even though there isn’t a public health ordinance against it.
