Catfight alert! In a one sided battle of the divas, Bette Midler was not impressed when Lady Gaga rolled onto the stage in a wheelchair dressed as a mermaid in a show last week in Australia. A frustrated Midler took to twitter to vent telling Gaga: “I’ve been doing singing mermaid in a wheelchair since 1980 – You can keep the meat dress and the firecracker t**s, mermaid’s mine”. Soon though Midler changed her tune and invited Gaga to share a drink with her at the Emmys in September. So far Lady Gaga and her camp have not issued a response to the accusation or invitation.
