Despite the death of 20 people, most were not harmed by Hurricane Irene, and instead had some fun with the storm. From surfing and boogie boarding to dancing in the rain and floating down water filled streets, many took advantage of the plentiful water.
An avid Flickr user, Linda Robbins uploaded as many as 169 photos of her face slapped onto a variety of banging bodies. Her account is now closed but her Photoshopped masterpieces will live on forever on the Internet.
These are some amazing photos that use a forced perspective technique. We posted some of these pictures previously but this is a big selection in which we decided to include the best of the oldies. They pictures are very realistic although that would be impossible.
Steve Gschmeissner, 61, a retired scientist and photographer from Bedford, was able to increase the size of these insects by one million times using a scanning electron microscope. The results are amazing close up 3D photos of these insects.
