An operation to rescue a kitten lasted for 2 days in Gothenburg (Sweden). The frightened creature was trapped in a concrete tube (15 cm in diameter) under a store. Staff at the supermarket heard animal’s cries for help but could not reach it. Rescuers used advanced camera equipment to monitor the kitten’s life in the tube.

A team of 5 rescue workers and animal keepers were trying to save the feline.

It took them 2 long days to finish the rescue operation.

Swedish journalists and animal lovers closely watched the operation. The story was immediately covered by local mass media.

The kitten is now safe. It awaits a new home.

Swedish rescue workers did a great job.
