First off, do you know how many times the Phillipines gets hit with typoons? I personally don't know the numbers, but I do know they get them alot. It's a natural part of their lives. I don't see how you can call them assholes for making the most out of their lives. I don't see you calling rock climbers assholes for climbing hundreds of feet of assholes, nor bull fighters, sky divers, base jumpers, deep sea divers, boxers, or free runners. These guys risk their lives for whatever they do and i don't hear you guys bad mouthing them. But when these people find their silver lining your staff turns around and degrades them into suicidal maniacs. In my opinion, you are the assholes. As a Filipino, I do think it is a foolish thing to do to wait for the waves along the Boulevard. True, typhoons are common in the country, but that should not desensitize the people from the effects of the typhoon, with thousands dying every year.

I, however, don't agree that the term should be "asshole". ;)
