not all muscle cars, Muscle care era started in 64 with the Pontiac GTO. When it ended is up for debate but around 1972 is an an average. Cars prior to that where referred to as hot rods

Mustangs, camaros, firebirds, barracudas, challengers and similar cars are not musclecars, they are technically Pony cars. The definition of a muscle car is a mid-sized car with a large (350+ CID) engine
