some loose numbers
the globe has about 1.260.000.000.000.000.000.000 of water - or V = 1.260.000.000.000.000.000 m^3 (1,26*10^18 m^3). the mathematical formula for a sphere tells us that its radius r = (3V/4pi)^(1/3) (look this up on any website). fill in V and you get r = 1,43*10^6 m - or 1430 km, roughly the size whats shown on the picture..
