They were made by co-founder of Imaginary Friends Studios Stanley Lau, born in Hong Kong. This illustrator is known to work with DC Comics, Capcom and other companies in the gaming and entertainment industry. Stanley is recognized by his handle Artgerm.

You do know Stanley Lau is an illustrator? As in, he gets paid to illustrate these. So, while you sit there and complain about what he draws, he'll get paid handsomely for everything he puts out.
