I think that in Poland they don't buy drinks, they make it them self. At least that's what i have heard from some polish people i know. Therefor it's impossible to keep any records.

3-4 gallons per person PER YEAR? especially for the heavy-drinking and heavy beer-drinking countries? that doesn't sound remotely accurate.
if you average just one pint of beer a day that's 7/8's of a gallon per week. that's about 45.5 gallons in a year. and yes, there are teetotalers and children to balance that out, but there are also much heavier drinkers, too.
bottom line, those numbers don't seem right to me. maybe for a vodka-drinking country like russia (maybe!), but definitely not for a country like germany, for example.
