This couple had never built anything until they bought a piece of land with a small house a few years ago. After thorough studying of building instructions and tips they decided to construct the new house by themselves. This work took two years.

The point is that most people don't believe themselves capable of building a house and that it's simply too difficult to do. This is not true. Virtually anyone can build a house. Read, study, and don't be afraid to ask questions or make mistakes. Before you know it you'll be living in a house you built.
