#13: Say, is it anywhere in the Western world today commonplace to keep secret to a child that it is adopted? Here in Norway, that wore of in the 1960s, or 70s at the very lates. If you adopt a child, you obviously tell the child that (s)he is adopted in the very early childhood years - as early as the child can grasp the concept of a "mother" and a "father".

And, the law grants the child the right to know - even to know who her/his biological parents are. I personally know several cases of kids who in their late teens had a meeting arranged with their biological parents, returning home to their adoptive parents and thanking them for taking over...

No politician will ever be able to solve poverty here in US. What a shame. In our current form of government, its every man for himself. We need a government where everyone who can work had a guaranteed job. There is no excuse for unemployment.
