Vladimir Fomin from Russia was just an ordinary man with a wife and a son when he realised that he was not happy with things the way they were. Wanting to do something to change this, he decided that his appearance was making him feel oppressed and he no longer wanted to wear the pants and underwear that men are traditionally expected to wear. He chose instead to start dressing in women’s clothing that was more elegant and cheerful and has now been dressing this way for 15 years. Despite popular belief, he is actually heterosexual.
