yep. and modern coke is some of the worst stuff you can put in your body-- bacteria-promoting on the teeth, acid on the stomach, glycemic-spiking on the bloodstream, and promotes insulin-resistance at the cellular level. the diet stuff is even worse!

But guess what — cocaine was still legal at that time. It wasn't outlawed until 1914.
