#6 BULL SHIT I've had Rabbits as pets for almost 50 yrs now, they DO NOT EAT their own droppings....they will eat and poop as the eat, but that's it...in fact about 99% of these "Facts" are just plain BULL SHIT.

is it possible you have some kind of unusual hybrid, bob james?

rabbits are well-known to consume their own droppings in order to fully digest the cellulose content. they don't have elaborate stomach systems like cattle and antelopes, so that's simply what they have to do digest all that grass. there's nothing controversial about it at this point, although some people will obviously find it shocking.

or maybe whatever you're feeding them (kibble?) is stuff that they only need to pass through once?

Night droppings they are called, they often eat them straight from the anus, having animals and knowing about them is not the same.
