#6 The word "reich" (rike / rige in Scandinavian) is usually translated to "kingdom" in English, although a "reich" doesn't require a actual king. The term "third reich" refers to the first and second "reich" of German history, where the first was the "Holy roman empire" (962-1806) and the second was the "German empire" (1871-1918).
