It’s definitely worth checking out a few of the country’s outstanding markets.
France boasts some of the largest markets in the world. Just look at the Marché des Lices in Rennes. It’s the second biggest in France and is surrounded by greenery and architectural history. The last time I was there, they were even selling cow tongue. You can get anything at this place.
To live in Paris, it's like Tokyo, Shibuya, you need a lot of money, otherwise you will not find a 6m² to 850 € per month, which is illegal in the area, but it is well. :D
The housing bubble has not burst, but it's coming, -35% on average across the country.
And of course, in these times of crisis, violence everywhere the same.
Would be better to stay where you are and use your savings to put in something about, the precious metals, for example.
I avoid talking garden and autonomy, as in the U.S., there is clearly a terrorist if they grow or even fruit and vegetables (GMO free) :-|
