Spencer Cornford, 9 December 1924
Spencer Cornford, 19, was one of a group of seven young men (see also Sidney Langby) convicted in early 1925 of a series of break and enters. Cornford was charged with stealing watches, clothing and money from a shop and with stealing two separate motorcycles and sidecars. He received 12 months hard labour on each charge.
