some of these are pretty dubious. some check out.

#17 that might make some sense if the hunter could follow their tracks the whole way. i'm still not convinced a human can outrun a horse, or various other hooved animals.

thanks. neat stuff. of course, a hunt is a very different process than a pure distance-running exercise. the stress response alone would waste a lot of the animal's resources.

i still see no real evidence that a man could outrun most horses or camels, etc. but i do take the point that man is a spectacular distance runner and that there may be no real way to conduct a pure test.

I don't know if all of these are true, but
#3 only applies for kids under the age of six.

#3 I took off the tip of me left index finger last summer trying to push a piece of wood away from a saw. most of the nail to just above the finger print was gone as well as the tip of the finger bone, the doctor told me I had two options, remove the rest up to the first knuckle and fold a flap of skin over it which will shorten that finger or just cover it an left it heal naturally. I chose to let it heal and it grew back nail and all with no difference other than the tip of the nail grows funny. side note, never felt a thing the whole time from the time I did it to when it finally healed, the only thing I felt at the tip was a numb pins and needles feeling like when your leg falls asleep that persists to this day.
