The plot around Faramir is pretty good. Even worse is the fact that they don't mention the druadain. Anyway, I shouldn't talk about it because I really don't know. Cause I'm not a nerd, you know.

i've read the books multiple times, and for the most part the movie differences are not deal-breakers.

at the same time, the books are still much richer and deeper than the movies, so those who want more than the hollywood treatment know what to do.

LOTR movies are plain, dumb and made for brainless generation expecting things to be comic- and game-like.
Hobbit is even worse.

Read the books.

the TS has made a coupla mistakes. That makes me ask if he read the book before watching the movie, or after.

Seriously people maybe the books ARE better than the movies, but you can't deny that Lord of the Rings is one of the best movie trilogies (or THE best) of all time.

I've read the books and think they're great!

Khysiek, you don't have to say that. One does not simply criticize Lord of the Rings like that.
Actually Lotr only has minor plot changes. That's what I love about them. I don't see why there are complaints.

The eye of sauron was a pretty important change, though.
Merry and Pippin. What more can you wish for?
