Except for the minor fact that 'Star Wars' happened "Long ago, in a galaxy far, far away". The distances betwixt galaxies are on the orders of millions of light-years. So, "far, far" would be along the lines of hundreds of millions of light-years. I doubt either Yoda or ET could live long enough to traverse those distances to get to our planet.
