about no 2:
i'm from estonia... this was a thing some generations ago but not anymore. still it is considered unrespectful to play with bread.

and by 'kiss the bread' it was meant that even if the peace of bread falls to the ground, you should eat it anyway, not kiss it.

and by bread, it is meant dark bread made of rye... not the white stuff southern countries eat.

ANY empty bottles and not JUST vodka bottles are not to be put back on the table! And as for licking off a knife, it is NOT considered rude! It is just a superstition that a person who does so, gets angry!
P.S. Anyone from Korea? What is there is a company of people who do not know each other that well around the table? How are they supposed to know who is the eldest?

In China, pointing your chopstick is manly, but not really polite. There is another one for China. When serving tea from the teapot don't let it in the table aiming at someone. Put it aiming to a blank place. Putting it pointing someone means you dislike that person.

About muslims, correct me if I'm wrong but I was coach not to use both hands to take the food from the center, then you use whatever you want in your plate, although is rude and means you are not educated.

In Spain (and I think in many other countries) you shouldn't make a toast without alcohol. It's bad luck. And if you can drink alcohol is unpolite to leave a person alone drinking alcohol in social meetings (either one more person joins or no one drinks alcohol).
