Actually, I just paid attention to the title of this post - I'm not happy any of these wonderful things are extinct, they would make the world a more interesting place if they were still around.

How the hell is happy with the extinction of any species? a stupid tittle to this post
Perfect horsetail fossil, this plant was preserved perfectly for more than 300 million years. It holds secrets from the Carboniferous period. Its strange that it was able to stay in this condition for so long.
