In Germany, this poor man could have been fined up to € 300,000 for filming on the road. It violates privacy rights of others. This poor woman might not want to be on the internet, so I can see the court's point. On the other hand, footage like this is helpful for analyzing accidents and such, be it for insurances or the police. But still, it doesn't feel right to declare this illegal.
