This needs a little bit more explanation. Because of the APEC, the Chinese government gave 3 days of holidays to all the factories in the surroundings of Beijing. So all the production was moved to the days before and after, hence the big change.

Another curious fact is that because of this same thing the Chinese government has censored the contamination data from the US embassy.

Mask is a must.

China is in trouble, and therefore so are we. Meanwhile, many seem a bit unaware upon such matters. Problem for the self-interested? It's that I don't think our willful ignorance will prepare us to make a very strategic response when China's manufacturing and economy tanks.
