Camels salt caravans carving their way into the Afar Danakil desert, what a beautiful military walk, more than 150 km crossed everyday following the same lines, carrying extracted salt from lake Assal to Mekele and other destinations even in 55 degree celsius of heat where machines fail, these camels don't. Amazing that the salt road is more than 2000 years old.
