#32 -- I think some scientists need to recheck their math... There are 24 hours in a day, each 60 minutes long, so there are 1440 minutes in a day. If the average session is 17 minutes long, than a lioness would be able to mate 84 times in a day and have 12 minutes leftover to eat, sleep, etc.
This is why dogs leave wet footprints behind when their body temperature rises. However, this is just a minor method of releasing body heat as dogs rely more on excessive panting to cool down.
