Travis Rudolph, an American football wide receiver for the Florida State Seminoles, made a small act of kindness which made a huge difference for an autistic kid.

He visited a local middle school along with some of his teammates where they shared lunch with excited kids. Travis noticed one boy sitting alone at the table. He decided to join him and sat next to him. Travis didn't know that this boy was autistic and that his gesture made a huge impact, especially on the boy's mother.

After finding out about this, Leah Paske, the mother, was very moved and wrote this touching post on her Facebook page:

Rudolph heard about her letter and responded via Twitter:

As the saying goes, 'No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.'
