The first-person shooter was originally released on PC but expanded to consoles and even mobile. The games' settings range from World War II through the Cold War and into the future. Sometimes way in the future.

The most recent game in the series, "Infinite Warfare," was released last month and stars Kit Harington, a.k.a Jon Snow from "Game of Thrones," as the antagonist. Our favorite, however, is "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare," which brought the series to present day and introduced a range of weapons and technology to the series.
