There’s a lot to enjoy here: the expanses of an alien world that was meant to become like the Garden of Eden yet turned into something far more sinister; the fascinating architecture of the spaceship; performances from the likes of Michael Fassbender and Guy Pierce, and the terrifyingly real monsters. Director Ridley Scott has announced that Alien: Covenant will become the first part of a new Alien trilogy that’s much closer to the original film.
